By volunteering, you engage with others who share the interest in French language and culture.
Connecting with your fellow Francophiles will bring you cultural immersion and enhance your learning. At the same time, your efforts
provide our Alliance with valuable and much needed support.
Our volunteers currently work in communication, education, development, and outreach. Specific projects vary, but volunteers assist by:
- Editing and managing our website
- Editing and managing our newsletter
- Writing for the website (see below)
- Leading social hours, walks, and conversation groups
- Assisting with fundraising events
- Identifying relevant grants and applying for them
- Helping with administrative tasks
- Helping to advertise classes and events on Seven Days, Front Porch Forum, and more
- Setting up for cultural events and cleaning up afterward
- Managing our image through marketing
- Updating our social media accounts
- Photographing our events for the website
